In a dispute with a jogger, a senior from Hamm is said to have tried to run over his counterpart. The 72-year-old got into his car angry after the violent conflict and drove specifically to the runner with the engine roaring loudly, the police said.
The 49-year-old was able to save himself by jumping over a boulder and was not injured. The aggressive senior's car collided with the large stone and was then no longer ready to drive.
After the incident on Saturday, the 72-year-old is now being investigated for attempted killing. He has not yet commented on the allegations. The police secured his driver's license.
