A young Bavarian fell from his balcony in his accommodation in an Austrian winter sports resort and died. As the police in Salzburg announced at the weekend, the 25-year-old had visited an event and a pub in Bad Hofgastein with friends.
On Sunday morning the man was found lifeless on the floor below his balcony. According to the investigators, none of his friends had noticed the fall more than nine meters deep.
The tour group was looked after by a crisis intervention team. The police do not assume that they are at fault. The public prosecutor ordered the autopsy of the deceased from the Passau district.
