(ANSA) - MOSCOW, DECEMBER 19 - Global warming is a threat to Russia and the world but "no one knows the origins of climate change": President President Vladimir Putin said at the beginning of his annual press conference in a speech which seems to minimize the impact of human actions on the environment. While stressing that global warming can have negative effects on Arctic cities and permafrost, as well as causing fires and floods, Putin stated that "in the history of the Terraci have been periods of warming and cooling and that this could depend on the processes of the universe" . Putin, however, remarked that Russia respects the climate agreement of Paris.
