For nine months, Ami and his wife Miriam managed to keep their first pregnancy out of the gossip columns. A pretty rare case for a successful singer in his class, in an age when every bystander is a paparazzi photographer and every Instagram follower becomes a source.

In an interview with "Yeshiva" of "Israel Today", Ami talks about giving birth for the first time. "We kept the pregnancy secret because we felt it was a very private experience and there was no need to bring in any outside interruptions," he said. "In general, there is value to privacy, even when you are a recognized person. Maybe even more. At the end of the day you are with your family and close friends, and it is important for me to respect this place of theirs, who will feel that they are with an era, not with a standing era."

Were you at birth?

"Yes, and it's an amazing experience, which will still take time to digest. In general, understanding what women go through and are capable of doing is a crazy thing. You end this experience when you admire your woman."

Who's the girl like?

"I hope she looks like Miriam, and as the years go by, she'll be more and more like her."

A month and a half ago, Ami again starred in the headlines as he left to protect Rabbi Peerer and the canceled fundraising event being canceled. "I was not supposed to attend this event," Amdi wrote in a post that won thousands of likes and hundreds of collaborations. "Like all the people of Israel, I sat at home, reading and hearing what the media chose to publish about the event, the words and the wording, and especially the deception and the public. And maybe because I was on the sidelines, I could feel how unfair this situation was and hurt our root cause as a people.

"I know Rabbi Firer from several meetings, and mostly know his work. A man who dedicates his entire life to the people of Israel. I am the last to support the exclusion of women, but also the first to support respecting another person's beliefs and worldview. A belief that has no purpose to hurt. "They have fallen into this trap, which has enticed people with a light hand to the hatred matches. Of course if they want me, I will be happy to volunteer as the rabbi does all his life."

In a special interview for the new season of "Pauda" in yes, Amdi reveals that he did not vote in the re-election to the Knesset, and concludes a decade of a particularly successful musical career.
