The youth said his words about the "blossom song" change scandal and it is pleasant to hear the youngsters sing Zvika Pick even if the connection between the musician's legacy and Festigel himself is loose • But do not expect the message to pass

"Welcome to the Game," welcomes Eliana's digital character over a huge video screen to the excited (and noisy) viewers and viewers sitting around the round stage, all armed with their cell phones.

PLAY Festigel is well aimed at the children of the screens and is all about the gap between the virtual world and real life. Cell phones play a crucial role in the show. The audience is asked to download an app through which he participates in the show in his interactive sections. In addition, video screens and giant plasma are rising and falling from every corner, and the world has never looked more digital.

The festival, directed by Hanoch Rosen, has long since become a lubricated machine that provides a colorful show with flying stunts, dancers and singers and a host of youth stars whose every rise to the stage is accompanied by screams from the audience and the photos they take. This happens when Levi, Eden Ben Zaken, Noa Kirl, Margie, Eliana Tidhar, Barkai Vine, Anna Zack and many others come up with me.

The guest artist who has been honored this year at Festigel is Zvika Pick. Most of the viewers in the show were not yet born when Pick's songs scorched the radio, but even if the connection between the songs and the plot of the show is not always clear, there is something pleasant about seeing a generation who did not know 'Mary Lou' sang all the lyrics of the Maestro songs with tremendous enthusiasm. And even screams the word "blossom," which the show's creators chose to download from the classic song by the late Essie Dayan and composed by Peake.

At the end of the show, Peake himself emerges for a few minutes with a grand piano - and this is one of the most exciting moments in the show, with the rest of the participants singing along with Peake his songs.

Some of the Festigal stars are already at the beginning of the road. Some emerged on this stage straight from the net. But there are two that stand out in experience and quality: Eliana Tidhar, the veteran of the Piggs, who continues to show that she is a great singer and actress, and Tali Oren, whose theater critics are already familiar with her talents in musicals, but this time the children of Festigel also enjoy them. Who starred in "Billy Schwartz", "Annie" and "Chaplin" gives the children a singing and acting show on Broadway level.

Will the message of the show go out of the screens into life itself do something for the young audience? Not sure. But even if not, at least they now know how to sing "Up Up".
