Colosseum: the ticketing system changes from January 1st

ROME - From 1 January 2020 the new ticketing of the Colosseum Archaeological Park is operational which integrates the Imperial Forums within all its ticket and visit types with the renewal of the agreement between Rome Capital, Capitoline Superintendency and Ministry for cultural and tourism assets and activities.
The FORUM PASS SUPER is born, valid for 1 day, which allows a visit with a single ticket of € 16.00 to the circuit Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, Imperial Forums and SUPER sites (Palatine Museum, Neronian Cryptoporticus, Aula Isiaca / Loggia Mattei, House of Augusto, Casa di Livia, Domus Transitoria, Romolo Temple, Imperial Ramp and Santa Maria Antiqua with the Oratory of the Forty Martyrs). The ten monumental contexts, extraordinary for their historical testimony and for the pictorial cycles they preserve narrated through multimedia, maintain the formula of quota and access according to pre-established times and days. To complete the experience of visiting the "heart" of Rome, starting from January 1, 2020 it will also be possible to purchase the FULL EXPERIENCE: the ticket, costing € 22.00, allows, within 2 days, 1 entrance to the Colosseum, including the arena or basements, and 1 entrance to the Super Forum Pass circuit (Imperial Forums, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, Super sites).
During the first months of 2020, moreover, on the occasion of the celebrations for the 150th anniversary of Roma Capitale, the "walk" will be further enriched by a special itinerary linked to the origins of Rome. Colosseum Archaeological Park and Special Superintendence of Archeology, Fine Arts and Landscape of Rome will work together, in collaboration with Electa, to rediscover and return to the public fruition an important portion of the heart of ancient Rome, in the monumental and urban area that goes from the Forum Boario on the southern slopes of the Palatine, with the possibility of reopening an existing access inside the PArCo that connects the slopes of the Colle with via dei Cerchi and the Circus Maximus.
