(ANSA) - TUNIS, DECEMBER 25 - The Libyan crisis, with possible steps for a ceasefire, and the economic and commercial collaboration initiatives between Turkey and Tunisia were at the center of the talks in Tunis between the Turkish president, TayyipRecep Erdogan and the Tunisian colleague, Kaies Saied. A meeting in which Erdogan denounced the deployment of thousands of foreign fighters, mainly Sudanese and Russian, in Libya. This was reported by the Turkish news agency Anadolu.
"The developments in Libya are not only about Libya, but have serious negative consequences for neighboring countries, mainly Tunisia," said Erdogan in a joint press conference with Saied. For the Turkish president, Tunisia plays an important role in finding solutions to the crisis. "We discussed the steps to be taken for a ceasefire and a return to a political process in Libya," he said.
