(ANSA) - MILAN, DECEMBER 27 - The sharp reduction of Nonperforming loans (NPL) in the belly of Italian banks continues: at the end of the year the total will be under 80 billion, compared to 84 in June and 197 billion at the end of 2015, with a 60% cut in four years.
This is the estimate of the ABI that emerged during the conference call on the report drawn up with Cerved on the reduction of the deterioration rate of corporate credit, with the reduction process that in 2019 "was favored by the transfer operations and by the decrease in the flows of new impaired loans" .
