What item: A Hoka brand from the SKY family, the Toa model. The limb is made of eVent technology that gives the shoe water resistance and stress conditions, ventilation and low weight, and the Vibram sole.

What's in the test: Hoca is an interesting combination of everything in a good hiking shoe - high, with a strong sole, waterproof - and a running shoe - appearance, lightness and thin laces. On the one hand you can travel with her, because she is tall, equipped with the Vibram sole known from the mountain shoe field, and also has a top strap of lugs like a hiking shoe. On the other hand, you feel like an upgraded hiking shoe, something between sneakers and a basketball shoe. The feeling of walking slightly awkward on the sidewalk due to the round sole structure, and the feeling in the field is much better and the grip on a stable rock. The water resistance is good and the texture envelops the shoe uniformly, preventing water penetration. The price is quite expensive for a hiking shoe that does not fit high weights and long treks.

Brooklyn Waterproof Super Oxford Timberland shoe

What item: Timberland Brooklyn Waterproof Super Oxford hiking boots.

What's in the test: A new shoe from the "Brooklyn" men's collection is added to the Timberland brand shoe. The shoe is high and has a TimberDry technology that waterproofs, so the shoe may be one piece that makes it difficult to penetrate water, but the fabric's feel like a tarp, not really pleasant to the outside. The sole is made of 50% recycled plastic (a good point for the ecological effort). The shoes have introduced a breakthrough technology called AEROCORE, which focuses on reducing the weight and flexibility of the shoe. The sole is flexible and absorbs shocks but it is not a sole that is suitable for carrying weight or walking in heavy mud. The design is innovative but we liked the style less. Comes in green and yellow-brown. Price is quite expensive for a shoe that you can travel with everyday, but it is not a classic hiking shoe.

Solomon hiking shoe, Model X Ultra 3 Mid Gtx

What item: High Solomon X Ultra 3 Mid Gtx hiking shoe. Weight - 450 grams.

What to look for: A high shoe from Solomon's beit midrash, a company that has been very popular with Israelis in recent years and mainly produces sports shoes and hiking boots. The shoe is equipped with a Contafrip sole, notched enough to hold the ground, the SensiFit system fixes the heel. Inside the Ortholite insole shoe that specializes in soft and anti-bacterial insoles, and the feeling is pleasant in walking. In the front of the shoe is a strong, stiff layer that keeps your fingers crossed. The GoreTex membrane that wraps around the shoe prevents good water penetration, but rather the tongue is too swollen and spongy and therefore comes out of the shoe, reducing full water tightness and strong bonding that loosens. The tie is comfortable with strong laces, and overall a stable and comfortable feel in trekking. Reasonable price.

What is the item: German brand Jack Wolfskin, which supplies warm and good clothes for hiking, this time with children's sandals for hiking in the Seven SEAS 2 model.

What to check: Kids' hiking or field hiking sandals. The sandals are built just like adult sandals, with a slotted sole that fits the area, and with strong straps with scooters that allow for good foot grip. The top of the sole is soft enough for the leg, and a pleasant feeling of walking has been reported. Dries relatively quickly.

NATIVE Men's Sandals, Wayfinder Model

What item: NATIVE men's hiking boots, model Wayfinder.

What's in the test: Native's sandals got a nice marketing name, just like a Jeep (Wayfinder), but these are pretty simple sandals with a thick, but soft rubber sole, with a kind of intermediate sole with an AEGIS extension - Which is an antibacterial substance and prevents odors. The straps are crossed like diagonal chaco sandals, and are made of polyester and comfortable to tighten and expand. The touch of the leg with the road is much softer than the aggressive and solid chaco, so it depends on what you prefer to feel on the foot. Another difference from Chaco, is the much cheaper price.
