It is super-consultancy strand, for the father of the former prime minister (ANSA)

The Arezzo prosecutor exercised the summons for the culpable bankruptcy offense against 14 former managers and members of the last board of Banca Etruria. Among these is also Pierluigi Boschi, father of the former minister Maria Elena, who, in the bank affair, would end up on trial for the first time. This line concerns consultancy to give a partner to the bank, but such as to cause the crash, and is independent of the maxi-bankruptcy process already underway with 25 other defendants. (

Among the consultations contested by the public prosecutor's office, there are 4 million euros paid for assignments entrusted to large companies (Mediobanca and Bain) and important law firms (Grande Stevens in Turin and Zoppini in Rome. According to the public prosecutor's office in Arezzo, the members of the board and managers cited in the judgment, they did not supervise the drafting of consultations which in the power of attorney consider largely useless and repetitive, as well as such as to contribute to the aggravation of the bank's failure.
On this thread there were 17 suspects. The ex-president Lorenzo Rosi, the ex general manager Luca Bronchi and the ex vice-president Alfredo Berni add to the 14 for which the prosecutor exercised the direct summons - and that for the same consultations were investigated together with the others - : but these, already involved in the ongoing fraudulent bankruptcy process (Rosi is accused there, Bronchi and Berni were sentenced in abbreviated rite at the end of the preliminary hearing), the prosecutor did not mention them being already on trial also for the same facts.
