(ANSA) - ASCOLI PICENO, JANUARY 1 - Tragic New Year's Eve in Ascoli Piceno. A 26-year-old boy died following a fall in Colle San Marco. According to a first reconstruction, at the stroke of midnight, after the launch of some fireworks that had triggered a fire in the brushwood, the young man tried to intervene to avoid the spread of the flames but fell, falling for at least fifty meters in an impervious area .
The people who were with him immediately raised the alarm and on the spot rushed the 118 firefighters who, after having reached him with difficulty, tried to revive him, without success. The boy was in fact in cardiac arrest. Around 1:50 he was reported to have died.
