From the guys who brought you Frog & Co., the first cocktail bar in the city of Ramat Gan, now get Pizza Pizza, the cool new boutique pizzeria in Givatayim. Partner group Tomer Greenwald, Tomer Finkelstein, Lotan Habib, Roy Giora and Ben Sharon, have been serving for over 3 years not only cocktails, but pizzas that have become especially popular with the locals.

Greenwald, a baker by profession and the leader of the group's culinary team, became a professional in the pizza industry, and the whole group decided to take it to the next level and open a new pizzeria where they could focus on just that. They opened Pizza Pizza in Katznelson in Givatayim in the heart of the center of interest, which has already been crowned as the alternative nighttime entertainment area for Tel Aviv.

The pizzeria has two functions, one is a takeout area where you can choose, order and take, and the other is a seating area that is a real pastime that fits on the one hand for the whole family, and on the other hand, as the evening progresses, it becomes a pizza bar with alcoholic orientation and appropriate music.

Pizza Pizza's menu is a nice mix of classic pizzas with a little more adventurous ones. The 36 cm diameter pizza, not very large, but bigger than a personal pizza. The pizzas can be cut in 48 hours and made from Italian flour and tomato sauce imported from Italy. It is a Neapolitan style pizza with a plump and thin center, and there are also options to get all the pizzas In vegan version.

There is of course pizza margarita (NIS 56) and four cheeses with mozzarella, feta, roquefort and parmesan (66 shekels), pizza a la Romana with artichoke (NIS 67), or Spicy pepperoni Italian sausage (NIS 68). There is also pizza with anchovies Ortiz (NIS 66), and white pizza with crispy sweet potato and truffle cream sauce and caramelized onion (NIS 68).

Apart from the pizzas, there are also some balancing dishes, such as pencanella salad (NIS 44) or Caesar (NIS 41), both with crispy focaccia rinds, and cauliflower with tahini in tabun (NIS 32), burnt vegetables with parmesan (NIS 38).

The dessert has soft homemade ice cream, or Calzone Nutella and Tiramisu (NIS 32-38). There are also happy hours that might get you there between 5.30pm and 8pm so all the alcohol is sold at 50% off, and there is also 50% off every second pizza.

And not far from the new pizza pizza, Chef Moshe Bedishi, who for years led the Mina Toomei restaurant chain, opened a new Asian restaurant, and he also chose Katznelson Street in Givatayim, where the auto-bar worked. The new Pappasan is a restaurant that also combines the experience of an urban bar, so that, apart from mini-portions inspired by Asian street food, you'll also find quite a few Asian-oriented cocktails and ingredients like sake or choya. Pappasen offers, on the one hand, a light pastime and good food that goes well with alcohol, and on the other hand is also suitable for a slightly more serious meal or an intimate couple date.

The menu itself was inspired by his travels in the world of Bedishi, highlighting Southeast Asia and the regions of Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and India. The menu at Paphassen is divided into 6 categories, for example CHOP CHOP where different tartar and sashimi types are offered, such as Halpiniyo Puri, a portion of chopped sea fish in Halpinini vinaigrette, yogurt and crispy herb (NIS 48). The next category is called POK POK and it offers a variety of salads, including of course Som Tam (NIS 39).

Next to the menu you will find a category of beans and dumplings with a selection of steamed or fried dumplings and dumplings, and a whole category of tandoori and grilled, with original options of meat and fish such as roasted salmon in citrus miso marinade (NIS 74) or from an entrecote steak with pomela salad (NIS 79) .
