2020-01-02T15:20:20.822Z

Shows for young and old, exhibitions, skating rinks, illuminated castles ... Our selection of outing ideas that stop this Sunday.

Castle festivals, musical tales, festivals, skating rinks… Christmas is not over yet! Here is the program for January 4 and 5 in Ile-de-France.

Children's shows

Emilie Jolie. Philippe Chatel's musical tale is celebrating its 40th anniversary and has not aged. We love the costumes, the staging, the music played live by three artists. A poetic parenthesis to make (re) discover to children from 3 years old without moderation.

Saturday at 2 p.m., Sunday at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. At the Olympia (IXth), from 26 to 50 euros.

The Child Ocean. It is our youth favorite at the end of the year. This social road movie, adapted from the eponymous novel, intelligently integrates video. The five young actors are excellent.

Friday at 2:30 p.m., Saturday at 7 p.m., Sunday at 3:30 p.m. At the Paris-Villette theater (19th century), from 8 to 16 euros.

The Christmas Orange. A nice show with modular decorations, and a little boy angry at not having received the screens of his dreams at Christmas. He leaves to ask Santa Claus for explanations and according to his meetings, understands that human relationships are more important than tablets. Children have a lot of fun, parents also applaud the moral of this initiatory tale.

Every day until Sunday at 2:30 p.m., at the Alambic-Comédie theater (18th century), 7 and 10 euros.

Show for adults

The Ortiz family. Our editorial team awarded this show the 2019 Parisian Star for the best play. We talk about family, where life is a celebration ... but sometimes also a source of misunderstandings. Lively, upbeat, musical and joyful, this family chronicle is full of fantasy and emotion.

Tickling. This autobiographical piece by Andréa Bescon is an uppercut of emotions, we laugh there as we cry. She tells how Odette was raped at 8 years old by a friend of her parents. From his childhood to his adult life, passing through the trial and dancing as an outlet, the spectacle is sublime. It is played this time by Déborah Moreau.

Chekhov madly . A game of fun thanks to a trio of Rabelaisian comedians, virtuosos, who exult in two plays by Chekhov, "The marriage proposal" and "The bear", staged with generosity by Jean-Louis Benoît.

The exhibitions

"We, the trees" at the Cartier Foundation. Discover the work of researchers at the Museum who list marine biodiversity, the evolution of tools to pierce the depths. Family outings

Festival of the marvelous. The dream, the madness and the fantasy gathered in one place. The fairground art museum celebrates for its tenth edition "carnival madnesses". In a setting worthy of a fairy tale, one lets oneself be enthralled by the colorful actors who animate the place and its rides of the 19th century. Carnival obliges, the public even participates in a parade. Here, we don't just take our eyes full of it: everyone can ride on wooden horses.

From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the fairground arts museum, 53, avenue des Terroirs-de-France (12th). From 10 to 16 euros.

"Prehistoric Safari". Exit cute garlands and reindeer: welcome to Jurassic Park. The acclimatization garden organizes a prehistoric safari. We cross a course dotted with dinosaurs, like a life-size T-Rex, animated puppets that provide some thrills. Even the enchanted river was invaded by diplodocuses thanks to 3D projections.

From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., at the Jardin d'Acclimatation (XVIe), 19 euros.

Festive days at La Villette. Flying chairs, a ghost train and candy to feast on. Nothing like ending your vacation in style than having fun in the attractions of this unmissable fair. Some speed sensations to be expected. Think about it before crunching your teeth into the love apples.

From noon, place de la Fontaine-aux-Lions, Parc de la Villette, 211, avenue Jean-Jaurès. From 2 to 10 euros.

Paris Aquarium. A Santa Claus with flippers, elves, fishermen or fir trees ... in the water. The Paris aquarium has put on the holiday colors with a program for everyone. Workshops to make personalized greeting cards, entertainment and shows galore, including a Santa Claus in shorts, will delight children. Behind the mockery hides a pretty awareness about global warming.

From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Paris Aquarium, 5, avenue Albert-de-Mun (16th century). From 13 to 20.50 euros.

Paris Zoo. They too are spoiled. Wolves, parrots, cougars and manatees receive many gifts and delicacies every day to celebrate the end of the year. The public observes the preparation of these attentions towards park hosts in the company of the staff. A stroll is necessary at night to contemplate the illuminations.

Vincennes Zoo-Paris Zoological Park, avenue Daumesnil (12th). From 15 to 20 euros.

Water fairyland at the Grand Rex. It's the animated film of the moment. "Frozen 2" exploded the scores at the box office. If you have not yet watched the adventures of Elsa and Anna, there is still time in this legendary cinema with a bonus, a show of 15 minutes before the screening. On the menu: water jets, giant illuminated waterfall and light displays.

Le Grand Rex, 1, boulevard Poissonnières (I). From 12 to 15 euros.

"Tales and stories". The Villa Savoye, the Conciergerie or the Château de Maisons-Laffitte. Still a few hours to discover the soul of 32 buildings through workshops or free entertainment. At the Domaine de Saint-Cloud, take advantage of an original visit where you come across Prosper Mérimée, Théophile Gautier and Victor Hugo. But don't forget to book!

Until January 5, "Tales and stories". For all.

Christmas ice rinks

The most gigantic at the Grand Palais . With its 2700 m2 of ice, there will be room to show off your technical prowess. One place, two atmospheres. During the day, we skate under the glass roof of the building which diffuses a sublime luminosity. In the evening, the track turns into a giant dance floor with its faceted ball of 1100 mirrors. Magic.

Until January 8, Grand Palais, 3, avenue du Général-Eisenhower (8th).

The ice rink on the roof of the Grande Arche. At an altitude of 100 m, you skate with a breathtaking view of the capital. Be careful not to forget your gloves, they are mandatory. After a few laps, take the time to take a look at the street art exhibit just below.

The roof of the Grande Arche, 1, forecourt of La Défense in Puteaux (Hauts-de-Seine). From 9 to 18 euros.

And also ... With the strikes, don't you want to walk for miles? That's good, Ile-de-France has many ephemeral spots with the atmosphere of a winter village. Between the marquee atmosphere of the Pantin ice rink, the ice garden for the little ones in Antony (Hauts-de-Seine) or family activities next to that of Perreux-sur-Marne (Val-de-Marne) , there will be something to satisfy everyone!
