The Antitrust proceeding was initiated upon notification of the Adiconsum. The fine concerns the Italian, European and Dutch divisions, ASUSTeK Italy Srl, ASUS Europe BV and ASUS Holland BV The unfair practice would have started in 2014 and is still ongoing. The competition and market guarantee authority also imposed a penalty of € 100 thousand on Arvato Distribution GmbH as an authorized dealer for the use of a telephone number with the prefix 199 for the provision of technical assistance services and the legal guarantee.
