The taxable income for 2018 of the Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte was 1,155,229 euros. His tax return, and that of the other members of the Conte 1 government, are in fact published online on the website Parlamento.it. 2018 was a golden year in terms of income, which tripled compared to 2017, when the taxable amount was 370,314 euros. The Prime Minister also declares ownership of a property in Rome and a car, a Jaguar XJS from 1996. The increase in the taxable amount - it is specified - is due to the fact that when Giuseppe Conte became Prime Minister he had to close all pending assignments by issuing the related invoices, and therefore has invoiced in a single year amounts that would otherwise have been diluted over time.
