What can you do with Movavi Video Suite?
After installing and launching the software in Windows, the main interface in French appears. The latter remains fairly simple to handle when you know some basic tools and essential manipulations.
The main interface is divided into 3 parts. As with many software programs, the left side contains the most important menus which form the tree structure and present the main functions.
The central part currently contains the favorites, i.e. the most commonly used tools, but once the tool is selected, this central space will become the work area.

Finally, the right-hand part displays videos of presentation and tutorials of the editor, on the various software of the mark.
As you can imagine, we will present the different features accessible from the side menu on the left.
Presentation of Video tools
By clicking on the Video menu, the various video processing, editing and conversion tools are displayed in the central area. So, with Movavi Video Suite, you have the possibility
- edit a video to compose your own montage,
- quickly convert video to different formats,
- record your computer screen to make a software tutorial,
- and take video captures from external sources such as a TV, camera or VHS, provided you have a suitable player.
A multimedia player is obviously available and you can split a video to cut it into several pieces in order to reduce its size and make it more easily exportable.
Audio tools overview
For the audio functions of Movavi Video Suite, you can convert music into different formats to play it on compatible players, record sound, from a microphone or other audio input source or to burn on a CD.
Presentation of Photo tools
Converting and editing photos are the features offered in the Photos menu, in addition to the slideshow creation tool, which is very useful for making personalized photo compositions with music and texts.
Presentation of Data tools
In the Data menu, you will find all the utility functions for burning, copying and importing video in MTS, M2TS and other AVCHD files.
Edit a video to edit with Movavi Video Suite
Although the software has an impressive range of features, one of the main functions used with Movavi Video Suite is undoubtedly video editing and the creation of video montages.
So click on the Video> Edit video menu.
Empty and austere at first, this new section will soon be filled with images, waveform videos, music and buttons ...
Let's start by importing the different elements you may need for your composition. You can add video files, photos and music, but also save them directly with Movavi Video Suite. You can record from your webcam, for your Video Blog, capture what's going on your screen for software tutorials, record audio from your microphone, etc.
Once imported, these elements are found in the Media Collection. You can read them with the built-in reader, which will also allow you to view your current work and navigate through the timeline.
To edit a video, drag the file to the Timeline located at the bottom of your work area. Whether other parts of videos or photos, all the elements will be inserted and customizable thanks to this drag and drop in the timeline.
You have the possibility to cut part of your video. To do this, drag the marker or reach the desired location from the reader. Then click on the small chisel which represents the Split tool.
With Movavi Video Suite, you can add a title to your video. A large choice of predefined and already configured title models are available to you. This title can be at the beginning of your video, when your sequence is not yet launched, but also above your video, such as an opening credits for example.
To add a title, you have 2 choices, either you drag the element at the start of your video, which will compose your opening credits with a black background, or you drag it on the timeline above dedicated to Text and which will overlap on your video.
To personalize your texts and their presentation, double click on the element in the reader and the commands will appear automatically.
Let's move on to sound processing.
Visit the Media collection to discover the music and sound samples offered in Movavi Video Suite. As with all the other elements, you just have to drag the music file into the audio track provided for this purpose, to integrate it into your composition.
As with a video, you can cut your music, keep only part of it and move it to the right place on your video.
You have the option of attenuating, even cutting the initial sound of the video, to add music over it.
Several tracks are available to you as a base, but you can add additional ones to add new elements, transitions, effects, etc.
With the first elements provided in this tutorial, you already have a good basis to start working with Movavi Video Suite. All you have to do is experiment with the many other tools available to you to create your personalized multimedia projects.
