Spring Grapes always seems to find a reason for a party, or a big gig that all tickets are running out of quickly. And so was last night (Saturday). This time Geffen marked 20 years for the album "Journey Diary" which was released in September 2000, and includes songs such as "Skin Skin" and "Journey Diary", which he also performed with the late Eric Einstein.
"Heavy Rain Is Falling" is one of the album's best-known songs, and it seems the song's name accurately described yesterday's wintry weather, but didn't stop Geffen's fans from filling the Hangar 11 at Tel Aviv for a performance at the Zappa Goldstar Soundsystem festival. .

Towards the end of the evening, as promised, Gidi Gov took the stage. Connecting two such artists is supposed to be good, professional and fun, but last night there seemed to be real magic on stage. Gov and Geff started with Gov's "Matter of Time", continued with "Loot Sharb" and "Interlocking Tools", then performed "Journey Diary", which was particularly exciting.
The two paid tribute to Geffen's father, Jonathan, and performed the children's song "Like a Sea" or in the more familiar name, "Dad returned from Eilat", which he wrote in the framework of the Sixteenth Sheep. It is a song that has become familiar in almost every home, some have known it from childhood, and others are already singing the classics to their children.
The show was over and the crowd was back in the rain, which seemed to be waiting for the show to finish and turn into a real flood. Grapes matured, which made him good.
