Each year, the Golden Globe ceremony is a kind of opening shot for the awards season culminating in the Oscars, which takes place more or less in February. After the long holiday season, Hollywood stars and stars are happy to put on their A-uniforms - that is, the prom dresses and suits, and show off the finest style on the red-carpeted carpet of the era. Just what, it turns out, not everyone is totally successful.
