Ingredients
- ½ olive oil
- 1 large onion, cut into 1X1 cm cubes
- 6 crushed garlic cloves
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 500 grams of dry green Gapuna
- Salt
- black pepper
- A handful of chopped parsley
- Olive oil
For submission
Preparation
Heat the olive oil in medium saucepan over medium heat. Add the onion and fry until golden.
Add the garlic and cumin, stir, add the dry peas and stir again.
Pour in a pot of water to cover the peas and onions, then add the same amount of water again. Cover the pot and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to very low and cook for 3 hours. Occasionally mix the soup and be careful not to stick the peas to the bottom. You can shorten processes and use a pressure cooker. In this case, cooking the soup after boiling will take about an hour.
Season and season the soup to taste, and serve with a little chopped parsley and a dash of olive oil.
