(ANSA) - TURIN, JAN 7 - The hunt for the neo-millionaire of the Lottery Italy starts from a tobacconist's shop in via SanDonato, near the center of Turin. It is here that the O series ticket number 005538 was sold, which won the first prize of € 5 million. "We discovered it half an hour ago," says the owner's son, Federico, who hung the "first prize, 5 million winners" sign in the tobacconist shop opened last April on the corner with Via Galvani.
"We are a lucky tobacconist, at least so they say. Love will be lacking", adds Federico smiling. "It must be one of the first tickets I sold. I got the Q laseries first, then the O series. Maybe the winner will call only for a greeting or thanks - he adds - I would be pleased. Obviously we would keep the utmost confidentiality: no names.
What would I do with 5 million euros? I don't know ... that's so much money ... ".
