(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 15 - "Even 18-year-olds can vote for the Senate and even 25-year-olds can be elected senators". This is foreseen by the amendment to the constitutional reform approved by the Constitutional Affairs Committee of the Senate, first signed by Dario Parrini (Pd), which explains: "This is an epoch-making reform. We overcome the paradoxical and by now anachronistic existence of a branch of Parliament with the same power of the other but not elected by universal suffrage. The provision will go to the courtroom as soon as possible ".
