Diamond scam, 34 million kidnapping

(ANSA) - MILAN, JANUARY 16 - A seizure of company shares and financial assets for a value of 34 million euros, against a financial holding company, Magifin, and diamond distribution companies, the Dpi, was carried out this morning by military personnel from the Provincial command of the Guardia di Finanza of Milan as part of the investigation into an alleged maxi scam with illicit profits for nearly 500 million euros and over 300 deceived people, including, as already revealed, also VIP customers such as Vasco Rossi.
The preventive seizure was ordered by the investigating magistrate upon request by pm Grazia Colacicco, owner of the investigation closed last October in view of the process request for 87 physical persons and 7 companies, including also the credit institutions BancoBpm, Unicredit, Intesa Sanpaolo, Mps, BancaAletti. In the past about 700 million were already seized, including from banks.
Among the victims also the industrialist Diana Bracco, the conductor Federica Panicucci and the ex showgirl Simona Tagli.
