(ANSA) - CATANZARO, JANUARY 17 - The interrogation of the guarantee of the judge Marco Petrini, arrested last Wednesday on charges of corruption by the Guardia di Finanza as part of an investigation by the Prosecutor of the Republic of Salerno, which lasted about proceedings concerning magistrates of the District Court of Appeal of Catanzaro.
Petrini, president of the second criminal section of the Cortanz'appello di Catanzaro and of the provincial tax commission, on several occasions, according to the prosecution, would have accepted sums of cash, precious objects and sexual benefits in exchange for his "interventions" in criminal, civil and tax lawsuits.
Defended by the lawyers Agostino De Caro and Ramona Gualtieri, Petrini answered all the questions of the investigating judge of Salerno, providing his own version regarding the charges charged to him.
