(ANSA) - PISTOIA, JANUARY 17 - The prosecutor of Pistoia has opened an investigation into the pollution of wells by polyvinyl chloride (PVC), a carcinogenic agent recognized as such by the WHO at the beginning of the 1970s, and on the possible correlation with the onset Casalguidi village of 6.500 inhabitants, in the Pistoia area, of eight cases of soft tissue sarcoma.
