A cut in the tax wedge that will affect incomes up to 40 thousand euros , reaching 100 euros per month for those who earn up to 28 thousand euros, and then go down with a double decalage system.

READ THE FORM, WITH THE DIFFERENT INCOME-BENEFITS

This would be the hypothesis illustrated by the government at the table with the unions in progress at Palazzo Chigi. After 28 thousand euros and up to 35 thousand euros, the reduction in taxes would gradually decrease to 80 euros per month; over 35 thousand euros it would still drop to zero. It would still be considering which threshold to transform the tax bonus into a deduction.

"Less taxes and more money at the end of the month for workers, a fairer country, a simpler tax burden. The intervention on the government's tax wedge will affect 16 million Italians ". Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte writes on Facebook, recalling that "since July we have been increasing the bonus already received by 11 million workers and their families, which will grow to 1,200 euros per year. We don't stop there: less taxes and wages more they are also high for employees with incomes of up to € 40,000. This is more than 4 million more citizens. For this objective in budget law we have already allocated 3 billion for 2020, which we increase to 5 in 2021 ". He continued, there was a "fruitful and very constructive" confrontation with the unions: "I explained to them that this cut in the tax wedge is only the first brick of the country we want to build, the first step towards a structural reform of the system tax, starting from personal income tax ".

The proposal to cut the tax wedge illustrated by the government to the unions provides benefits ranging from a maximum of 1,200 euros per year for the lowest incomes (between approximately 8,200 and 28,000 euros of income), and then gradually decreases to 192 euros per year who will arrive in the paycheck of those who earn 39 thousand euros and zero for those who reach 40 thousand. This is what emerges from a document presented by the government at the table. Those with incomes of up to 33 thousand euros will be able to count on a benefit of just over 1,000 euros. Those who earn 37 thousand will have around 576 euros a year more.

Landini, after years wages increase, important day - "An important day because after so many years there is a measure that increases the net wages of a part of the employees. This is a first result, which affects 15-16 million people who he will see the net increase in his paycheck, nobody gets rich, but the road is the right one ". So the general secretary of the CGIL, Maurizio Landini, at the end of the meeting at Palazzo Chigi on the cutting of the tax wedge. Landini also stressed "the commitment to start a confrontation that must lead to a real tax reform".

Furlan, wedge cut first positive result - "It is not an answer that will satisfy everyone, but it is an important first step. I underline it because we have brought millions of women and men of the work to the squares to get this result, in over a year mobilization. A partial but positive result ". So the secretary general of the CISL, Annamaria Furlan, at the end of the table at Palazzo Chigi on the cutting of the tax wedge. Furlan underlined the knot of the incapacitated and asked for benefits also for the pensioners, underlining the need for an overall tax reform.
