Campotosto, in the province of L'Aquila, hard hit by the earthquake of 18 January 2017, is still a ghost town. Three years after the earthquake, the community, now reduced to fifty inhabitants, gathered for a lunch in the structure donated to the village by the Alpini. The country is completely damaged and destroyed by the shock of three years ago. The inhabitants still reside in the Map (temporary housing modules) already present since the L'Aquila earthquake of 2009. The next nine temporary houses (Sap) that the country needs must arrive. The real reconstruction is still far away.
