Children of a fourth grade in Sassari wore the clothes of great 20th century characters posing for a school calendar: from Gandhi to Falcone and Borsellino, from Rosa Parks to Maria Callas, from Anne Frank to Grazia Deledda, up to the Beatles.
The initiative is from a Sardinian teacher, Antonietta Dore, who has crafted this calendar published at Christmas as a "work" for the children in a completely handmade way. The printed calendars were given to families and the proceeds went to charity works. "Now the copies are finished - the teacher Dore, who teaches at the Pertini-Biasi of Sassari, a little surprised by the great echo of the initiative - says to ANSA - but they are requesting many in different parts of Italy. the school manager if making a possible reprint.
