Finally, the 26th edition of the SAG Awards, one of the most important film and television ceremonies, was considered the true prelude to the Oscars.
These awards are granted by the United States Actors' Union, that is, the same actors are the ones who nominate and choose the winners.
Candidates for these awards are appointed by 4,200 randomly elected members, among the more than 120,000 members that the Union has, since 2007.
