(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 21 - A magnitude 3.6 earthquake was recorded by the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology in Foggiano, 4 kilometers from Carpino, in the Gargano. The shock occurred at 4:24 am at a depth of 20 kilometers. The other towns closest to the epicenter are Cagnano Varano and Ischitella.
The earthquake was also felt by the population in Foggia, about 50 km away, but no injuries or damage were reported.
