(ANSA) - ROME, JANUARY 21 - "The EU Commission has reopened the negotiation on migration and asylum and soon a new European pact on the migration issue will come". The Facebook Minister for Foreign Affairs Luigi Di Maio, who met today with the Vice President of the European Executive MargaritisSchinas and the Commissioner for Internal Affairs and Migration, Ylva Johansson, wrote on Facebook.
"Italy - affirms Di Maio - is the country that has most suffered in Europe the migration crisis of the last 10 years, especially when someone bombed Libya in 2011. And it is for the same reason that we continue to say that there is no military solution to Libyan crisis. We paid blame we had and today we have sent a clear message to the EU: without Italy, the EU cannot do it, and for this reason we expect that our requests will be accepted ".
