France bleu explains that train traffic is disrupted from Perpignan. School transportation is suspended in several areas.

Finally, around 1,500 households are without electricity due to snowfall.

On Wednesday morning, the precipitation will intensify. In 48 hours, the meteorological organization waits in places up to 200 mm to 350 mm of water, or 200 to 350 liters per square meter. Such accumulation is likely to cause flooding. The Pyrénées-Orientales therefore remain vigilant orange (level 3 of 4) due to snow, ice, rain and floods.
