Ingredients

    • 5 Granny Smith Apples
    • ½ cup sugar
    • 1 glass of raisin
    • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
    • 2 cups orange juice
    • 1 cups of bread crumbs
    • 1 package of puff pastry (400 g), thawed in the refrigerator
    • 50 grams of soft or melted butter for brushing the dough
    • For submission

    • sugar powder
    • Vanilla ice cream (not required)

Preparation

    How to make apple strudel?

  • Make the stuffing: Peel the apples, clean the core and slice into thin slices.

  • In a large skillet, place the apples with the sugar, cinnamon and orange juice. Bring to a boil and transfer to a small flame.

  • Cook for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples soften and some of the liquid evaporates. Strain and cool the apples.

  • Add the breadcrumbs to the apples and mix.

  • Slice the dough and cut laterally to form two sheets. Brush with butter, place at the end of each sheet of stuffing and roll into two rolls.

  • Place in a baking sheet lined with a sharp knife, make 2-3 cuts throughout the roll and brush with butter.

  • Put in preheated oven to 190 exquisite for about 35 minutes or until pastries get golden color and crispy texture.

  • Sprinkle over sugar powder and serve, recommended alongside vanilla ice cream.
