SpaceX tested the emergency procedure for its Falcon 9 rocket on Monday, January 20, two months before the first manned flights of the American company founded by billionaire Elon Musk. It is to send two American astronauts to the ISS space station in March. The United States expects a lot from this program which would allow the country to no longer depend on Russia to send its astronauts into space as it has been since 2011. The operation was carried out successfully: the capsule supposed containing the astronauts broke away early enough with the explosion of the rocket and then landed gently in the Atlantic Ocean with parachutes.
