The President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella landed at Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv and then continued on to Jerusalem where he will stay until tomorrow. This evening Mattarella will attend the dinner in the residence of Israeli President Reuven Rivlin in honor of the heads of state who participate in the ceremonies for the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz. Tomorrow morning Mattarella will take part in the Yad Vashem Museum in Jerusalem at the International Forum on the Shoah and anti-Semitism.
Before going to Yad Vashem for the Forum entitled 'Remembering the Shoah, fighting anti-Semitism', Mattarella will have two bilateral meetings tomorrow morning. The first with Israeli President Rivlin and the second with Slovenian President Borut Pahor. President Mattarella arrived in Israel from a mission in Qatar, where accompanied by various Italian entrepreneurs, he met Emir Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani.
