He engaged girls by promising a job. The investigating judge: 'Subject without self-control' (ANSA)

To the girls, mainly university students, he presented himself as a renowned chef and with the excuse of offering jobs he was given their phone numbers. But from that moment the 'great' cook became, at best, an avid stalker and, at worst, an aggressive molester. This is what emerged in the investigation by the Carabinieri of the Rome Aventino station thanks to which the fake chef, a 23 year old with precedents, was arrested in execution of an order for precautionary custody in prison issued by the investigating magistrate of Rome on charges of acts persecutors and sexual violence. Since the last months of last year, the young man has been held responsible for numerous episodes, persecutory acts and sexual harassment, to the detriment of girls hooked on the street or on public transport in the capital. He would have approached over thirty girls.

Among the students who frequented the areas around the University of Rome 3, a particular alarm had been created to the point that some of them published posts on social networks to warn the other girls, inviting them to pay attention to the boy. In response, many students also published posts in which they said they had been victims of harassment by the boy. The various public appeals have generated a real manhunt. The victims, who had the courage to report, provided physical descriptions that agreed to the point that, after identifying the suspect number one in the 23-year-old, the judicial authority issued the order that ordered his arrest. The young man is now in the Regina Coeli prison.

"A person without any self-control ability who has not hesitated in order to satisfy his own lust at any cost to approach young, very attractive university students or in one case a young worker from outside the EU and to violate their intimacy". This is what the investigating judge of Rome, Luigi Balestrieri, writes in the order with which he ordered the prison for the 23 year old. For the judge there exists "the concrete danger of recurrence of the offense by the suspect" and this is "deducible from the mode of conduct put in place which highlights its already widely experienced danger".
