Marche region, fitting figure for earthquake

(ANSA) - ANCONA, JANUARY 23 - Asking the Government "for a connection and coordination figure, equipped with the necessary organizational skills". This is the commitment requested from the President of the Regional Council for the appointment of the new Extraordinary Commissioner for reconstruction in the areas affected by the earthquake, envisaged by a resolution unanimously approved by the Marche Regional Council at the beginning of the ordinary session. The act is the synthesis of two motions signed by the directors Boris Rapa and Moreno Pieroni (Socialists-UNiti for leMarche) and Peppino Giorgini (M5s). He found sharing the need to modify and expand the commissioner's prerogatives to solve organizational and management problems.
The commissioner Angelo Sciapichetti underlined how the "successive commissioners did their best in the given situation", and recalled the "late Zamberletti" who dealt with the earthquake in Friuli and to whom the government gave "enormous power".
