'Here Jews' written on ex-deported house

(ANSA) - CUNEO, JAN 24 - An anti-Semitic writing appeared on the door of Aldo Rolfi, son of Lydia, partisan deported to Ravensbruck in 1944, one of the great horror vocals of the concentration camps. The writing "Juden hier", "here there are Jews", as in German cities during Nazism, appeared in the night just spent in Mondovì (Cuneo) on the door of the house where the woman lived until her death in 1996. The street where the the house was named after Rolfi a few years ago.
The homeowners reported the aicarabinieri episode. It also investigates the Digos of Cuneo. After the report, Lidia Beccaria Rolfi worked for the Historical Institute for the Resistance of Cuneo and for the national Association of the former. In 1978 he wrote 'The women of Ravensbrück', the first work in Italian on female deportation. In 1997 he published (posthumously) 'The future broken', essay on childhood during the laditatura, with the introduction of Primo Levi. The Rolfinon family is of Jewish origin.
