Shakira showed in his Instagram account two photographs that reflect the great work that is being done in the construction of the "El Bosque" school, in Barranquilla, Colombia.
Its foundation, " Barefoot ", has an incredible and admirable participation in this work.
"The construction of our school @fpiesdescalzos of 'El Bosque', in Barranquilla, is advancing!", The interpreter wrote at the foot of the post , where two images from the area show that the foundations are laid and that the ground is completely fenced.
Everything looks perfectly delimited. In the postcards you can see some structures already with a roof, and in other areas of the place you can see the formwork waiting for the casting of concrete tiles.

This architectural process is usually the most expensive in any construction, and more in a structure aimed at education, since it has to comply with the norms and standards of the federal program of construction of educational institutions.
The dream of doing this school had two phases. The first was to clean the land and make some demolitions of structures that were in these 27 properties, which, incidentally, cost more than 1.2 million dollars.
There were also excavations, and after this the foundations were laid.
Stage two will aim at the foundation of the project. The skeleton of the work, the installation of doors, windows, exterior details as well as the installation of the complete plumbing, electrical and air conditioning.

All this last work was carried out by the foundation of Shakira, "Pies Descalzos", that is why the Colombian is very proud of the progress, because the hard work that is being done in this project is seen.
But, its foundation is not the only organization involved in this dream, the District of Barranquilla, "Obra Social La Caixa", "FC Barcelona Foundation" and "LCI Educational Foundation" also contributed their sand grain.
Some media reported that the singer has come to put her own money to make this place a reality, where more than 53,000 children and adolescents from this neighborhood called "El Bosque" will have access to education.

It was at the end of 2018 when the famous visited this neighborhood, one of the poorest and neediest in Barranquilla, and the construction agreement was signed.
In August 2019, the now ex-mayor of Barranquilla, Alejandro Char, and the still district secretary of education, Bibiana Rincón , laid the first stone of this school.
Less than a year, the project is very advanced and it is expected that this year is when the doors of the school open, the first of ten that are planned to be done in Colombia; seven in Barranquilla and three in Bogotá.
