The powerful explosion in Houston occurred in a building. The local police communicated this. In a tweet, the Houston Police Department reports that at 4:30 am local time, it intervened after an explosion in the western part of the city in the Gessner area.
At the request of the authorities, all traffic in the area was diverted. It is not yet known whether there are victims or injured, as well as the causes of the explosion are unknown.
