Mexico, Jan 24 (EFE News) .- Mexican singer and actress Anahí, who gained international fame due to Televisa RBD's telenovela (2004), resumed her musical career with the premiere this Friday of "Latidos", a song dedicated to her son.
The single is inspired by what the 36-year-old Mexican experienced when she had her son Manuel and presented it just when she was pregnant with her second baby, Emiliano.
A few years ago Anahí decided to pause her career to devote herself to motherhood, but this new musical work seems to reopen the possibility of returning to her artistic side.
The actress turned to social networks to publish a fragment of the song this Friday, and Thursday accompanied an advance with an explanatory text.
"I had this little piece of my heart saved a long time ago. Manu was the inspiration and it would be a gift just for him. One day I thought I should share it, let them make it their own and can touch their hearts," he said.
Despite having turned away from the spotlights, Anahí has never ceased to be an icon in Mexico. On January 1 it caused a sensation when he published a photo with all the members of RBD, who had not been seen together for 11 years.
On the other hand, it also has its own podcast entitled "Are they there?" and its AnByAnahi.com website, where it shares its experiences to lead a healthy lifestyle and recipes aimed at women.
Now, to the surprise of his followers around the world, Anahí published this "song dedicated to his son that describes the eternal love and deep bond that exists between a mother and her son," his agency said in a statement. .
The song, which can be heard on all platforms, was posted on YouTube in a video accompanied by the lyrics and unpublished images of Anahí and his son Manuel.
The father of his children is the former governor of Chiapas Manuel Velasco, with whom he married in April 2015 in the cathedral of San Cristóbal de las Casas in a striking wedding.
In 2004, the Mexican began her journey in the world of music with her fellow RBD casts and then continued alone, with hits such as "Amnesia" or "Rumna", the latter with Puerto Rican rapper Wisin.
