(ANSA) - TEHERAN, JAN 25 - Iran will unveil a new generation of centrifuges to the world on April 8, 2020. This was stated by AliAsghar Zarean, special assistant to the head of the Organization for Atomic Energy of Iran (Aeoi), main Iranian government agency for the management of nuclear energy and nuclear fuel cycle installations in Iran.
"The Iranian uranium stock has exceeded 1,200 kg and will be quickly added to the enriched uranium stock," added Zarean, quoted from the Aeoi website. "At the moment, if the authority decides, Aeoi is able to enrich uranium with any desired percentage," added the official of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran.
On January 5, Tehran announced that it would enrich uranium "without restrictions based on its technical needs".
