The best French toast in Tel Aviv

With all due respect to pancakes, for us the breakfast king is actually the French toast, or in his Hebrew name - lost bread; While it's a pretty easy dish to make at home, but there are a few places that serve it much more luxuriously, we found seven perfect toast that you must taste, and one hour before

La Republic de Rooney Moti

La Republique de Rooney Mutti is one of Tel Aviv's favorite Italian restaurants. On Friday-Saturday, a particularly successful breakfast is served, not too much Italian, but rather quite classic, and very fun. Your main morning meal, or as a dessert for dinner - do not miss French toast, made of golden brioche bread and served with horseradish cream and jam on the side.

Elena, Norman Hotel

It's probably one of Tel Aviv's favorite dishes, and also one of the most photographed on Instagram - Barak Aharoni's French Toast at the Elena restaurant in the Norman Hotel. Norman's breakfast, we have often received compliments as one of the best (and noon). At NIS 145 (not cheap, we know), you will have free access to the buffet, and one dish to choose from - listen to us, go for the French Toast. Here, too, the brioche bread is starving, and after being well dipped in a night of sweet cream, milk, eggs and vanilla, it goes to a frying in a celebration of butter and sugar, at the end of which sugar powder is sprinkled on it and served alongside the crème fraiche and fruit of the season. perfect.

Plump

The plump neighborhood cafe may not be familiar to many, but it may be time for you to get acquainted - this is a particularly endearing place. In the morning section of the menu you will find a portion of Babka French Toast (NIS 42), and it is hard for us to believe that the combination of these words managed to leave you indifferent. Here, the French toast is not made up of sickness or brioche, but - note - a chocolate yeast cake, after being properly dipped and frying, served alongside sour cream, honey, maple and seasonal fruits. Corruption pays off.

The subway

A little more familiar cafe, just not far away is the subway, which is considered the home coffee of many Tel Aviv. At the bottom you will find pretty simple and basic food, done properly, not just people come back to it again and again. Each time we pull in the wonderful French toast, very homely and fun, made of brioche bread, served with powdered sugar, side maple syrup and cut fruit. classics.

Reviva Scand Flor

Just recently, we told you about the wonderful breakfast served in the new Scand Flor neighborhood. Among the main breakfasts served there is also, how not - French toast, but wow, what a French toast. The second-floor Reviva bread is made of soft, wonderful brioche bread, but the real grind is the caramel layer that surprises in the middle, and is served alongside berries or strawberries and banana, a delicious sweet bomb.

Taizu

In the wonderful Taizo brunch that is served every Friday, just outside the "brunch business" after the first and main courses - anyone who has a separate stomach just for desserts will earn one of the best French toast this town has to offer. A particularly large square piece of bread hides a cream of mascarpone with white chocolate and strawberries, seasoned with lime kefir, and from above - as requested - fresh berries. Wow, how good that is.

Nordoy coffee

Last but not least, the French toast of Nordoy Coffee conducted by Chef Einav Azaguri is served as part of the on-site breakfast. Here it is based on Kugelhof, which makes it soft and plump, it is served with Anglese cream and fruit, and is worth every calorie.
