The Ricchi e Poveri will be guests in Sanremo, exceptionally in their original quartet formation, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the song 'La prima cosa bella' and the first participation in the 1970 Festival. The reunion was born from the idea of the manager Danilo Mancuso who brought together Angela Brambati, Franco Gatti, Marina Occhiena and Angelo Sotgiu to create a special project. The Ricchi e Poveri, in their original formation, will be guests in Sanremo in all probability on February 5, in the second evening. In trio, Angela, Angelo and Franco were expected to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Festival in 2013, but their participation jumped due to the discovery of the son of Franco Gatti lifeless. Since then Gatti's farewell to the group, which has become a duo. Franco Califano had taken the quartet under his wing and baptized it, originally, 'Rich and poor'.
