(ANSA) - PARIS, JANUARY 28 - The Italian Luca de Meo has been appointed general manager of Renault since the beginning of July: well-informed sources report on the day of the Renault board of directors in Boulogne-Billancourt, just outside Paris. Milanese, 52 years old, former protégé of Sergio Marchionne, Luca deMeo will therefore leave the leadership of Seat (Volkswagen Group) to try to relaunch the French car manufacturer as well as his alliance with Nissan-Mitsubishi, after a year of crisis following Carlos Ghosn's judicial troubles in Japan.
