Provocative rapper Nicki Minaj has been criticized for flipping reviews when she married convicted sex offender Kenneth Petty, and now it turns out ironically and shockingly that the phrase "everything in the family" could no longer fit.

Jelani Maraj, Minaj's 41-year-old brother, was convicted last Monday in Long Island Court of rape and sodomy in his stepdaughter.

"You ruined the girl's life," the judge pleaded with him. "You tried it again and again."

Maraj himself, who atoned for the charges, asked the court to show him a forgiving treatment.

"I apologize for the pain I caused," he addressed the court. "I had a serious drinking problem, and I ask for mercy from the court."

The abused girl, her ex-stepdaughter, boldly testified against him in court and said she suffered suicidal thoughts.

"I couldn't believe I could get through the day without a panic attack. I felt like I had no voice," she testified that her younger brother witnessed abuse and was forced to remain silent, after being threatened by Maraj because he and his sister were leaving the house and taken from their mother if he told anyone what he saw. .

In her testimony at a trial that began in 2017, the victim testified that Maraj repeatedly raped her at the home where they lived while married to her mother. According to her, the rape and abuse were sometimes performed four times a week, twice a day - with Marage calling her "my sex doll" and forcing her and her brother to remain in complete silence.

Maraj denied the allegations, claiming it was a plot incensed by his ex-wife, the girl's mother, and intended to extort millions of dollars from his famous sister. DNA evidence found on the girl's pajamas eventually led to the case being opened against him and convicted.

Maraj's lawyer stated that they would appeal the disproportionate sentence, and that he had no doubt that the legal proceedings against his client had failed.
