Preparations for the Eurovision 2020 are progressing, and according to the lottery held in the host city of Rotterdam in the Netherlands, the representative of Israel will appear in the second part of the first semi-final on May 12.
The advantage: In this half, only 17 countries take part instead of 18 who will participate in the other half, out of which 10 countries will make it to the finals.
The downside: In the first semi-final we will face Sweden and Russia, countries that are considered to be tough competition in Eurovision.
In addition to the sweepstakes, the keys to the ceremony were also held: Tel Aviv Mayor Tzipi Brand-Frank handed the city's key to the mayor of Rotterdam. The key is designed in the colors of the Tel Aviv municipality's logo and with the outline of the city's buildings.
