The Iranian TV channel broadcast news of the crash of the US plane in Afghanistan and used the image of an actor played by a CIA agent
Was the official Iranian TV channel trying to create a scandal when it released news of the crash of the US plane in Afghanistan, with the image of an actor portraying a character inspired by a real CIA agent, or was it a human error?

In the last two, an American plane crashed in Afghanistan, and following the crash, rumors were circulating in Iran that Michael DeAndre, the CIA man who trusts the fight against Iran and played a key role in the assassination of General Qassem Suleimani, was among the victims in the crash that took responsibility for the Taliban organization.
A day after the incident, the official Iranian TV channel broadcast news of the crash, using the image of actor Frederick Lin, who starred in the movie "On Alert at Dawn" (director Catherine Bigelow's assassination of Osama bin Laden) a CIA agent, based on that of Real Agent Michael DeAndre.
State TV asserts that senior CIA officer Michael D'Andrea - whom it says had a key role in killing Iranian general Qasem Soleimani - was killed in the crash. The BBC News Analysis website on Tuesday tweeted in its Twitter account that the official Iranian TV network claimed that DeAndre was among the dead, but released a picture of actor Frederick Lin from the movie playing the CIA agent.
The actor himself tweeted on Twitter: "I hope there is no 'fatwa' (Islamic ruling) to kill me."
At this time, it was unknown what had happened to DeAndre, and the CIA's response to the Iranian publicity had not yet been received.
