The children's show “Max et le grand magicien”, which is played at the La Boussole theater (10th), amazes all spectators.

It is a joyful spectacle, in an elaborate and neat decor, which is played at the theater of La Boussole (Xe). "Max and the great Magician" arouses the curiosity of children throughout history. The great magician Spank has disappeared. While walking on the banks of the Seine, Max discovers the great magic book of Professor Emeritus and enters his workshop.

The decor is inspired by Jules Verne, the magic table full of accessories is fixed on an old bicycle, a trunk unfolded upright is full of hats and mysterious objects. The actor Clément Gustave (alternating with Christophe Sellier) is a singer-dancer whom the Compass introduces to magic. The fake objects he manipulates have their effect. A plant begins to bud and gives three oranges, offered to the public.

Children's eyes stay wide

In a bag, the top of the Eiffel Tower is reconstituted from powder and bolts crushed with a hammer. Max dances to the centenary music of the phonograph, before spitting out dozens of knotted scarves. The children go up on stage, one by one, to put on the helmet of a thinking machine, put on a golden turban to rise into the air. Little Edouard prepares the alchemists' cocktail. Max drinks his mixture and plenty of paper sticks out of his mouth.

In the end, the disappearing machine - made by father Alex, another amazing magician - amazes the whole room. Max enters, makes signs through the window, then go! He reappears at the back of the room. Children's eyes remain wide. Throughout the 13 issues, Spank's voiceover accompanies Max. It is that of Benoît Allemane, the deep and calm French voice of Morgan Freeman.
