ROME - Sustainable and shared mobility in 2019 recorded record numbers, with over 832 tons of CO2 not emitted and 1.2 million euros saved, almost doubling the data of 2018, when we talked about 650 thousand euros. This was revealed by Jojob's Annual Report on Corporate Sustainable Mobility, the main service in Italy that offers companies a complete corporate welfare tool from the point of view of mobility thanks to the certification of home-work travel made in carpooling, cycling, on foot or with the company shuttles. A car with 2.38 people for a journey of 29 kilometers is the average journey traveled by carpoolers who choose to share the car every day to go to work. In this way, explains a note from Jojob, each user gets to save on average 1,966.20 euros per year, considering that the average cost for those traveling alone would be 2,613 euros (calculated on the Aci table at 0.20 euros per kilometer) .
The companies that choose the mobility solutions proposed by Jojob have increased to 3,000 (+ 50% compared to 2018), of which 260 large companies (+ 44% compared to 2018), which in addition to the corporate carpooling service are promoting transfers to on foot, by bike or with the company shuttles.
