(ANSA) - TURIN, FEBRUARY 1 - Confindustria celebrates its 110th anniversary at the OGR in Turin, where the industrialists' association was born. It is "a great institution that has transformed itself: not only a category, a trade union, but also an attoresocial one", underlines the leader of the industrialists, Vincenzo Boccia.
What does this milestone, this important past mean, looking to the future? It means, says Boccia, "to be a bridge between the interests of businesses and the interests of the country", it means "to have an idea of society, to have an idea of the challenges of Italian society: to reduce the gaps between companies, people and the territory". It means "to include young people". And "challenges, with China and the United States in industrial terms". Then "understand how this path can be done together with other actors, other associations of categories. We have made some important aspects together with the union with the Pact for the Factory". It is "how to help the government of the country with proposals that look far and wide".
